'A Celebration of SUPPLY' Florals
I think we can all agree 2020 has been a challenging year, so when your friends manage to renovate and launch a new showroom, you celebrate in floral style! The ladies at Supply Showroom have been providing interior designers with the most beautiful textiles and wallpaper and their newest showroom is nothing less than stunning. I wanted to congratulate them on their beautiful new space with an arrangement that fit like a glove. A varietal bunch of vibrant colors and a petaled frenzy of roses, sprays, mums, peonies, and peegee hydrangeas is the perfect addition to an already fantastic showroom. The variegated roses in blush and peach are left in its natural state as well as reflexed state to give the illusion of double the variety of stems. The fluffy tufts of preserved hydrangeas are the perfect beret to this arrangement and will live on past the arrangement giving it a second life. I wish the ladies at Supply all the best of luck and a beautiful new year!

Brass vessel with 4-5” opening
Oasis floral foam
Wooden skewers
3 bunches of purple mums
3 bunches of hot pink carnations
12 stems variegated white and pink roses
2 bunches of pink spray roses
1 bunch of peach spray roses
12 stems of variegated peach roses
12 stems of raspberry red roses
3 stems of white and blush peonies
5 red pincushions
1 bunch of purple heather
1 bunch of Christmas bush
5 stems of blush preserved peegee hydrangeas
STEPS
Start by securing the chicken wire to the vessel opening, leaving enough room to slide a block of oasis foam.
Secure the oasis foam within the chicken wire structure and using skewers, insert into the foam black and leveraged against the interior sides of the brass vessel.
Start with the base flowers of purple mums, carnations, and Christmas bush to create the initial structure of the arrangement.
Then layer in the roses and spray roses throughout the arrangement. A balance of normal roses and reflexed roses gives the appearance of more varieties.
Add in the purple heather and pincushions to create interest and dimensions.
At the end, insert the peegee hydrangeas for final impact and flair. Because they are preserved, they don’t need to find its way into the oasis, but just needs to be secure enough to stay put.
After the arrangement is complete, spritz the petals with water to hydrate.
