Spicy Blood Orange Margaritas

IMG_2180.jpg

It’s finally December and with the first weekend almost upon us, we deserve a little fun and spice. I wanted to bring together a cocktail that is holiday friendly and gives us a little kick to warm us up on these cold winter nights. The blood orange always makes me think of Christmas and the holidays as it’s the start of the blood orange season. A bit of smokiness from the mezcal perfectly balances the sweetness of the fresh blood juice. I like to keep the seeds on the jalapeños for that extra kick. This is a super simple recipe and you can easily batch it ahead of time. Making this prior to your event gives the jalapeños more time to infuse. Cheers to the (almost) weekend and happy December! 2021 here we come!
