Sartorial Host’s Fruity Pebbles Treats

IMG_1173.jpg

If your friend has a love of Fruity Pebbles and you’re celebrating their birthday, the obvious course of action… make Fruity Pebbles treats. And if you want to take it to the next level, because that’s the Sartorial Host way, you make custom labels and heat seal red foil bags to package these treats like a pro. I like to balance the sweetness of the Fruity Pebbles with a few cups of plain Rice Krispies and the extra bit of butter and heat sealed packaging ensures that these treats stay fresher for longer. I also top both sides of the treats with an extra layer of fresh Fruity Pebbles to add a kick of color and to help keep your hands from getting too sticky from the marshmallow coating. All in all, this is a fun twist on a Rice Krispies treat and a sure crowd pleaser for any party or celebration!

STEPS

  1. Line the 13x9 pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a large stock pot, melt the butter on low heat.

  3. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted and evenly combined. Remove from heat.

  4. Add the Fruity Pebbles and Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow and stir gently with a nonstick spatula until evenly combined.

  5. Pour the cereal mixture into the pan lined with parchment paper and gently press flat so that it’s evenly spread.

  6. Let the treats cool for 30 minutes or until room temp.

  7. Add a layer of Fruity Pebbles cereal on top to create a dry surface to make it easier to handle.

  8. Remove the Fruity Pebbles treats from the pan, flip over onto a large cutting board, and remove parchment paper.

  9. Add another layer of Fruity Pebbles cereal so that both sides of the treats are coated in dry cereal.
